If you are a performer who plays Americana music, or if you're in an Americana band, feel free to contact us at home@americanahomeplace.com. We would be happy to work with you or your band to promote your music.
The goal of this site is to feature a blend of established Americana performers as well as emerging artists. There are several ways we can help to promote unsigned and independent artists.
First, if you have a website, we can include you or your band on our unsigned and independent artists page. We will include the name of you or your band and a link to your site. We also request a short statement about your music, your influences or any other information to help identify or distinquish your sound. Our unsigned and independent artists page can be found under the "Special Features" tab at the top of this page.
Secondly, if you have a CD, feel free to send it to us. Send us an email and we will tell you where to send the CD. We will take a listen to it. If the music is appropriate for this site, we may be able to include it on our New Releases page or on Americana Homeplace Radio. Of course, any CDs we receive are non-returnable. Also, by sending the CD to us you grant us permission to play the music on Americana Homeplace Radio.
Since there are inevitable costs associated with operating this site, we are also willing to promote the CD on this site through the placement of a banner ad or other advertisement. Just email us if you are interested.
Lastly, feel free to use this forum to promote your music. Just register as a member of the forum and post a message. You can also provide a link to your website.
We recognize that it can be difficult for new Americana artists to gain the exposure they often deserve. We are here to help. Do not hesitate to contact us.
